Today Liam Brophy and myself went to Carlow to see how the developement of the new chipper was coming along. We were told that it would be ready for testing next week. It the machine is a success he would like to build a machine for chipping Miscanthus bales only. He is of the opinion that with some modification he could make his chipper cut short enough to eliminate the need of a silage harvester. Cant wait.
